Thanks! Yes of course you do. I started cheerleading at 16 and I was pretty good at it. Just work hard and you’ll be fine :) You can start by taking a few tumbling classes and conditioning (check fortheloveoftumbling.com for exercises).
This is cheerleading
This is artistic gymnastics(all four events)
That’s rhythmic gymnastics(all four events)
That’s acrobatic gymnastics
That’s aerobic gymnastics
That’s trampoline and tumbling
Now that you know you can stop saying they are all the same thing.
Hardwork, dedication, and perseverance. It sucks to lose your skills, but the only way you can get them back is by working hard and doing whatever you did before. Don’t worry I believe in you :)
Hi! Look for the Gabi Butler stretching video for stretching tips. I also recommend door stretches (30 sec each leg) and pulling needles/scorpions as many times as you can :)
Work on your plyo and flexibility. If you go to fortheloveoftumbling.com you can find specific exercises for your jumps. Go through varsity’s instagram too; they have a picture of exercises you can and should do :)
